Chestnuthill Diner takes pride in our vast experience and commitment toward delivering exceptional food and service. We have been in the restaurant business for 24 years, and are operated by a close-knit family encompassing 2 generations.
Our founder, Alex Kotretsos, served in the Greek army before settling down in the United States when he turned 21. He briefly worked in the restaurant industry with his brother Tony before they decided to open their own diner in Brodheadsville, PA.
Today, Alex and his brother-in-law, Gus, are managing the diner full-time. Alex is the restaurant's main chef, preparing a vast array of soup, sauces, and dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Alex is the father of triplets who also work at the diner. We have a sister company named after them, Triplets, that also serves fresh and delicious food. Both restaurants are dedicated toward pleasing customers and providing the best possible service.
Outside the restaurant, the Kotretsos brothers indulge in their hobbies of gardening and taking care of animals. Alex is also an avid hunter, as he always gets an exhilarating rush during his excursions into the wild.
We primarily serve Brodheadsville, West End, and other surrounding locations within a 10-mile radius but we also get people coming from all around the Tri-State area stopping in to try our food.
